Here's Jason concentrating on doing his homework at home. He is one active kid who usually can't sit still during his homework. He's getting slightly better ever since I put him under full day care. It's simple joy watching him focusing on doing his homework.

Turkey
I saw this pair of turkey at a friend's house in the kampung during Hari Raya. I don't know whether they bite or not but i sure don't want to get chased by one. Mention turkey makes me think of Christmas. I have never taste turkey meat before. Hmmmm, I wonder if I'll get any chance this year ....
Sunset In Lumut, Perak
A beautiful sunset picture I took during my car treasure hunt at Lumut. Maybe next time I can try taking a picture of sunrise (if can wake that early, !... Lol)
And talking about lovely pictures, i found this website of beautifully taken pictures. It helps for those who needs to look up certain kind of pictures like mothers ( like me la! ) who ocassionally has to help their child in their school projects or some who like to use it as their wallpaper.

Something different - G Cheong Fun
This plate of HK G Cheong Fun is a lil' bit different from what we usually eat. The usual ingredients were mostly like char siew and prawns, rite? NOW, this G Cheong Fun's main ingredient is the Yau Char Kwai. Some may have tasted it before and I think some haven't even heard of it. I was quite skeptical about its taste when I first ordered it BUT afer trying it, I prefer this than the original one. Even my picky-eater son ( who usually asks for milk or bread for breakfast) enjoys it very much. Just look at his smile ( eyes also "one-liner" already) and u'll know!
I found this in a restaurant called Lei Yun in Bercham, Ipoh ( the road behind KFC). A friend of mine tasted another one in Jalan Yau Tet Shin (Ipoh town centre).
My 2nd Car Treasure Hunt
I went for my 2nd car treasure hunt last week. We departed from Ipoh at 5:30 am in order to reach Butterworth by 8 am for the debriefing by pro-people, AAM. They also supervised the last year's hunt. This year's target place is Marina Cove Resort, Lumut. At exactly 9 am, we were flagged off. I really enjoy the challenge of treasure hunting and the fun of getting the answers to the mind-boggling questions.
Last year, my team was the champion but boo hoo hoo .. this year,we were disqualified as we were late by 14 mins. The winner was able to get 14 correct answers while we were able to get 12 correct ones. If only we manage our time well...... Too bad ! If there's another hunt next year, I'll definitely do better ! YES! Kanbatei !

" Pirates" On Sale
He! He! I hope my posting of this blog wouldn't get any scolding from my friends or anyone else. BUT, I just couldn't help blogging about it. WHY? Because recently, I notice in Ipoh (don't know about other states), most of the DVD shops are having a BIG sale. Some are selling RM10.00 for 3 dics like the picture above and there are also those selling RM20.00 for 3 pieces of what-they-call the Blu-ray disc ( known to be exceptionally clear). And just yesterday, I saw another shop selling RM2.00 per disc ( CD or DVD), regardless of whether it's a single movie or those 8-in-1). Real CHEAP !!! Imagine, clear pictures with correct subtitles for less than RM1.50 to entertain you and your family for a night ! No wonder those original DVDs had a hard time fighting the "Pirates"....
Dried Shrimp Fried Rice
Last Saturday, I cooked up my kid's favourite fried rice , Dried Shrimp Fried Rice. Other than the leftover fried rice, I added the leftover lunchen meat and some frozen mixed vegetabales. The main ingredient, dried shrimp, has to be grinded first before frying so that it is easily "blended" with the rice. That way, there's the smell of it without seeing it, see?
My kids and my hubby just love this dish and it's easy and simple to do. Notice the little hand trying to get a taste before I could even take a picture of it?
