Dim Sum Delight

Dim Sum is one of the traditional breakfast of Chinese people. It is also a favourite of mine. Luckily, in Ipoh, we have a many Dim Sum restaurants to choose from. The most famous one is , of course, Foh San Restaurant. Other well-known ones ( to me)  are Ming Court, Sun Kok Kei and Yoke Fook Moon.

Today I tried something different. I went to Glamour Square in Bercham. There's this Dim Sum restaurant called 10 Delight Dim Sum . It has different concept of serving for its customers. I feel that this concept suit those who wanted to try all kinds of dim sum and they are alone or small group of twos or threes. They even have free WiFi access here.

One look at the menu show the Dim Sums are priced at around RM0.70 to RM1.50 per piece. There were three of us, so I ordered 2 to 3 pieces of a few varieties, totalling to more than 10 pieces. We were told by the owner that we get a free teapot of Chinese tea of our choice. F.O.C,  sure want lah!

This is my F.O.C. Pot of Heong Pin  and a plate of "Wu Kok" ( RM1.10 per piece). Very crunchy on the outside but the the ingredients are too "blend" for my taste. ( Ingredients inside seems to be blended together, couldn't find a single pea)

The " Loh Mai Kei" is OK though. The price is RM2.80.

Last but not least, my BIG basket of Dim Sum consisting of 3 "Har Gau" aka Prawn Dumplings ", 3 Crab Fillet Dumplings, 2 Fishball and 3 "Siew Mai" aka Pork Dumpling. Taste-wise, hmmmmm... Ok.K.kkk la. Price RM1.00 to RM1.50. My total bill comes up to RM22.00 for a group of three.

Overall, sitting here on a early morning with a few Dim Sum and a cup of tea (plus a notebook) can be a relaxing way to start a new day. At least, you don't have to stuff 3-of-a-kind Dim Sum for every variety into your stomach.

Here's the view from I was sitting :-
